Young children learn how to use a smartphone before they learn how to ride a bike. Instead of reducing their exposure to technology, we asked ourselves how could we use it to encourage them to spend more time outside and learn about the world around them?
PA!GO is a collaboration with Panasonic to design and develop an educational and entertaining product for kids. The prototype is a TPU powered device that uses computer vision to let children explore the world around them. Simply point PA!GO at anything to learn more about it (with information provided from the Google Knowledge Graph) then take it home and sync it with your Chromecast to learn even more from related YouTube content.
This joint project with the Home Entertainment industry leader Panasonic and some very talented production partners redefines how Google technology such as machine-learning can be used to turn traditional devices into incredible educational tools.
